  First of all let me say the good. This is one awesome shirt. It's definitely the thickest long-sleeved t-shirt I've ever owned, almost as thick as a sweatshirt. The cotton material is comfy as well as being heavy. It did not noticeably shrink after several washes, and the pocket is a nice touch for those who wear it as the outer layer (I often wear mine under another shirt). The tail is very long to help keep it tucked in, if that's your cup of tea. Overall I would say the quality and thickness of the material is the best of any of the long-sleeved tees I have ever tried.I'm leaving my review at 5 stars because I think the quality of the shirt warrants it, but a few words should be said about the size. I found that the medium fit quite big on me compared with other mediums. First, as I already mentioned, it hangs very long. This is OK if you tuck it in, but a bit too much for wearing out, at least for me. The waist area also flares a little wide on my body. Perhaps fuller bodies could fill it out and make it fit right. Secondly, the arms were actually a bit short on me despite having a long tail. Surprisingly, the shoulders were about the right width, and the neck fits well. What this means is that the shirt comes in a bit of an awkward cut: long tail, shortish sleeves, standard shoulders, and standard neck. To give shoppers a sense of my size, I'm 5'11", 160 pounds, and pretty lean. I have long arms compared with the width of my shoulders, and no belly at all. I also have a shortish torso. I generally wear a 38-40 Regular sport coat, and a 15x34 fitted dress shirt.Despite a fit that's a bit off, I still love the shirt and will probably buy again. Perhaps I will look for one size Small - Long, if they are made. I think that would be ideal for me. I fully understand that others shopping here might consider the fit perfect if they have thicker chests, a bit of a belly, and shorter arms -- so I have kept my rating 5 stars. Overall highly recommended!

  I like these tall version shirts with the longer tail. I'm not particularly tall, but I'm not into showing off my underwear or , well, you know what shows when you bend over. The long tail does the trick and eliminates the plumber's crack. I also like the full-size shirt pocket as opposed to the decorative little pocket on other brands. This pocket is large enough to actually use, and as I often carry a pen, the little separate pen pocket is a great touch. The shirts texture is a little rough compared to some other brands, but these Dickies shirts are more durable and don't develop holes in them as quickly as those other brands. These are a great value for the price. Just wish they carried more colors.

  You cannot go wrong with these well made, heavyweight, T's and shirts. I love them. Perfect for guys like me that have a generous belly. Great for multiple washings and holding up. Best of the Best.

  Some helpful things.. if you wear a size large normally in clothes then get a large. This is generously cut. If you want it baggy however then get an xl. If you need room to move around, dont want it tight at the armpits or will be in the heat.. those reasons then I would size up. The wrists are snug. The sleeves are not too long. The colors are spot on. Its long enough to go past your hips. It washes well. I have about six different colors. The material is heavy. It feels like really good quality t shirt material and not cheap or paper thin AT ALL.I highly recommend it. I also have had the Large Tall version as well. I didnt care for those. Wore them to workout in at home. But the sleeves are very long on those. The length is very long too. If youre a tall person but on the slimmer side those are perfect. For me personally as a woman, the large works well and looks nice with my jeans and combat boots. The hunter green is beautiful and would look nice on anyone. Also the heathered brownish taupe color is very nice. The olive is a true army green. Great color with jeans. Black is not faded. A true black. Charcoal greyish color was nice too. Not dark or light.Hope this helps someone!!

  Dickies vs Carhartt. Both are quality products. The main difference is Carhartt is 100% cotton. While Dickies is 50% polyester and 50% cotton. Dickies is warmer in cold weather, doesn't shrink when washed or wrinkle as much. Dickies dries faster when wet and feels smoother against the skin.. Both do the job they are supposed to. in the end it comes down to cost with Dickies being significantly less expensive by as much of $5.00 to $20.00. I tend to look at the value and quality not the name.

  As advertised, thick and well made cotton t-shirt. True size, and comfortable. I have 2 in black and 1 in dark grey. Wash well and don’t shrink.

  Definitely a step-up in quality with these T's-- much thicker than average ones I've bought in the past. Not exactly super soft-- there is a "toughness" to them but I like that because it seems to indicate they'll last longer. Not meaning to imply that they are uncomfortable, the comfort is fine, and that extra weight is perfect as a base layer when layering for cold winter weather. That is primarily why I bought them. Collar is good enough to have showing under a sweater for business casual dress, in my opinion. I normally wear XLT, and I ordered these in XXLT because it's 100% cotton and will probably shrink. The XXLT actually fits me quite well so I hope they don't shrink too much... Recommended.

  Purchased black long sleeve w/pocket xl.Was not disappointed, definitely heavy weight fits loose very comfortably. Positively I will buy again and also recommend
