The buyers for Walmart (in Colorado) stopped carrying these. They swapped them out for the stretch wranglers - which are not the same, not even close. So, I shopped the Wrangler site and found these, had them sent to me on the "try and buy" and they fit exactly the same as the Walmart version called "FIVE STAR". I believe (per my ass and tool box) that these are the same fit, same style, same weight of jean as sold at Walmart. The "FIVE STAR" is sold in 3 or 4 style patterns, and I'm not sure which of the CLASSIC options would match up to the FIVE STAR version.... but, they are pretty much, IMHO, the same product, just a different marketing name.Nope, none of the numbers make any sense or match up, and so I included a photo of the actual tag from the latest pair I bought from Walmart, just for reordering on line, or in the store.... it should have came in handy IF THEY EVER HAD THEM IN STOCK. They didn't, don't, and won't (per one of the older ladies that works there - she said her husband was pissed too that Walmart stopped carrying the "FIVE STAR" version of Wranglers. However, if you like these, I will let you in on a tip.... check out these Wranglers - I switched!Riggs Workwear.... holy cow, what a nice pair of jeans!https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007O01B2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1After trying these, I purchased more pairs and then took almost 36 pairs of my older, no-longer fit me "FIVE STAR" jeans to the homeless shelter as I have now switched to these.... yes, twice the price, but twice the jean.... way better... tripple stitched, gusseted, sooper comfortable. More room in the front with that gusseted crotch makes these sooooo comfortable while stooping, crouching, kneeling... I recommend you give them a try. Pay more, but they fit, feel and look like a completely different type of jean than the FIVE STARS are. Get a pair.I also now switched to these Wranglers.... The George Straight Signature Jeans..... holy cow, "COWBOY CUT".... what a different fit, and THESE ARE much more tailored to my "ass-less" body type... I must have a lot in common with George's hip shape because these are so comfortable and fit so perfect that I forgot to wear a belt the first time I wore them out to dinner. I got the 32x32 and did not have significant shrinkage issues... I like them to start out kinda snug with my T-shirt and Shirt tails tucked in, so they loosen up while I wear them. I wash in cold, dry on low, remove at 75% dry and then hot steam iron and heavy starch. Damn, these George Straight jeans take blue jeans to a whole new level.... I don't think you will ever go back to the CLASSIC or FIVE STAR once you try these on... and go dancin' in them!... you will hate the fact you will now "totally justify" spending $45+ for a pair of jeans.... yes, you will, and you will totally understand why they are priced how they are priced.... because they are so well worth it.Buy two pair - they will last longer, and look better than the FIVE STAR or CLASSIC ever could for the same price as 4 CLASSICS.... It's time. Order them... try and buy is the way to go!FYI..... I'm 5'-10" and weight 165 ... I wear the 32x32 in all Wranglers - boot cut, Riggs....
These days it is so hard to find jeans WITHOUT flex. My husband hates stretchy jeans and these are like they used to make jeans in the 80s. They fit like they should, wash like the should and hold up great.
Seemed really big for 32 inch waist, returned them.
Bought these after trying to find a comfortable pair of jeans. I've been wearing Levi's my whole life, and tried some Levi's on that just felt cheap, thin material, just didn't feel like the quality I've been used to with previous Levi's purchases.I wanted to try the Wranglers, bought the regular fit and the relaxed fit, returned the relaxed fit, which I felt were a bit more "relaxed" than the Levi's that I was used to. I tried the Wrangler regular fit and wow, you know that feeling, when you get the "good" pair of jeans?!, it was THAT feeling! Comfortable fit in the waist, the length was PERFECT!! I wear a 32x34 in Levi's, and ALWAYS have to have them taken in a bit as they are too long, tried the 34x34 in Wrangler, WAY too long, the 32x32 fit like a glove!!!I've had them for a week now and I'm super happy with them and I will be buying more. Give them a shot if you're on the fence, Wrangler just might surprise you, in a good way!!
These are absolutely fantastic jeans for $20! They fit perfectly (32x32, I'm 5' 11" and 165#) and they actually have nice, thick denim, unlike some of the cheapo paper-thin brands I've tried on. You can just tell they're going to last a long time and wear great. I bought 2 more pairs as soon as I washed and wore these once.
Happy
good fit true too size
Fits as expected
My 90 year old uncle had a favorite pair of old blue jeans that he would wash, wear, repeat. He's lost weight and his jeans were too big but he's stubborn and is use to what he's used to so it was hell trying to get him to get rid of them. Took a chance with these jeans and ordered what I thought would fit and when he tried them on they were snug in the waist. I was able to exchange the jeans for a size up and they fit perfect. He was actually happy and said "I look good, don't I?". I would say this purchase was a success!
Perfect jeans fit…very pleased
