I am 5’8” and currently wear a 40x30 pant in Carhartt and Wrangler Riggs work pant. The XL Short fits perfectly over my work clothes. You will need a belt or suspenders to help keep them up.
Heavy duty duck, great against wind, rain and snow. Easy on and off without messing with boots. Only con is weight. But compared to light weight technical insulated pants on the market, this heavy pant is a bargain for the value. A winter must.
Usual cart hart quality, heavy duty
Work very well in freezer environment. Definitely size down as it runs a little big but overall they do the job
Ive been a carharrt man for 50 yrs. These are the best choice for cold weather pants. Easy to put on and take off. I love'em
These are very warm. I ordered a small and I have a size 29 waist so they are a bit big for me. But overall I'm happy with how warm they are, and that's all that matters. Definitely recommend a pair if you work outside during the winter.
I wish they sized by waist instead of s-m-l to get a better fit. Ordered a Medium for my husband. His normal size is 32x32. Length was a bit long and waist big, he’ll have to wear a belt. Smalls I think would have been too tight.Nice quality and well made!
Got them for my husband. Much deeper pockets, these go to around 6 inches above the knee, the old style that was discontinued had shallower pockets and he was always losing things whenever he sat down. He loves this pair, they're warm and comfortable. It has 2 snaps at the cuff, this might be nice for making them tighter around the boot while riding. Plus he's a welder/fabricator and heavy equipment operator so he gets to work outside a lot. These are made of the tuff stuff like their predecessor, but a better version.I was unsure of the new sizing they have, he wanted a 34W X 30L and I was told he should get size M, Regular length. This is just about right, but any longer would have been too long.
Slip over pants off and on
I HAVE A DILEMMA. Ordered the SM Reg (34" waist - 32" length) and the MD Reg (36-38" waist - 32" length) fits just right and the Large is at least 2" too large in the waist. I'm worried about shrinkage. If the Med shrinks at all they are too tight and if the Large doesn't shrink enough washing it on HOT and dry them on HIGH HEAT, I'll walk out of them plus they will be too short. They need to go back to producing them by waist size and not S, M, L.
