I have never been a wranglee lovee but I needed FR for eork snd bought these . Just bought the same size always do, but by 11 these things would not say up I know its summertime but please give me a brake.
Most FR pants are very expensive and the price was decent on these. They fit according to size guide. Well made.
Good looking, a comfortable fit and very good fire protection. After three months of daily and very rough wear, these are worn out but I can't imagine anything else performing better under my conditions. I'm ordering another pare and when those wear out, I'll get more of these.I have a summer job cutting steel at a metal recycler. I work 8-9 hour days in the hot southern summer sun. I wore and sweat soaked these every weekday for over three months, washing them on hot or warm every night. They've held their fire resistance for all that time.Only once did I nearly burn through them and that was when I carelessly turned the cutting torch directly on the pant leg for about three seconds. Even then, they did not catch fire and my leg was not burned. The fibers wore away quickly in that spot so that it looked like they were worn out and a hole developed there a few days later. But that took a direct blow from the torch. Regular streams of hot sparks did not burn through these.Because I'm climbing over piles of scrap steel with a lot of jagged edges, the pants did tear frequently below the knee where they would come into contact with torch-cut steel. I suspect that this would happen to any fabric pants though.I'm ordering another pare of these and may look into leather shin guards to protect them from jagged steel edges. I like the fit and love the fire protection.
So I have gotten a few different FR pants and they all seem to run long in the leg. You may want to go one length shorter than normal or consider having it hemmed up an inch or so. Otherwise, they are quite nice.
Great thick denim that will last a long time with deep pockets.Great fit.
Have worn the wrangler FR’s for over 10 years they are hard to beat in fit , durability and price point . You can find cheaper but you sacrifice quality . My favorite is actually the wrangler FR cool vantage as they are lighter and more comfortable but they didn’t have them in my size this time . But these are slightly cheaper .
These pants are tougher than a Marine Corp drill sergeant. 5 pockets to boot. Of all the pants that I've bought, these were the best fitting. If you took the carpenter's loop off of them, I believe these would be just like the one Levi Strauss invented in the 1850's for miners except these are more stylish. Love 'em. I wear a 52 x30 and that is a tough size to find. Excellent job Wrangler.
Can’t go wrong with these wranglers.
My husband loves these FR jeans so much, I ordered more! He likes the way they fit much better than the FR pants his company pays for.
I have a big butt. Crotch wears out before anything else. Starts to wear near seam on backside bottom. It'll start as a small hole until I bend over just right and then RIPpppPp
