I bought a pair of these for winter hiking. There are pros and cons to these pants but otherwise they do exactly what I bought them for. Here are my thoughts! As I said, I needed something to both keep me warm and to protect me from the elements. This does both of those things for me and I have worn them both around town and on some hiking trips (most notably in the Smoky Mountains). These are very warm pants. I tried to wear these on a warmer Tennessee day and that was not a great idea! That being said, I've always stayed warm wearing these in colder weather. Just a small tradeoff. Also, I normally would wear 32/29, but Wrangler doesn't offer that so I always buy from them 32/30 instead. This is normally okay for the most part except these seem to be extra long! They even fold under my shoes while I'm walking. The only time I ever got them to stay up is when I was at work and wearing my boots. I get that you want more fabric to block the wind and protect me from the elements, but this is way too much. It makes me wish they had a 32/28.Speaking of size, it's also a bit wide even by Wrangler standards. I have Wrangler jeans for work that are 32/30 and will stay up even without a belt, but when I went hiking in the mountains I forgot my belt once, and they kept sliding down! What's weird is that sometimes it fits and sometimes it doesn't, but I don't know if that's the pant's problem or if that's me actually getting wider/narrower throughout the day, but this is the only pair of pants that has done this to me.With the negatives out of the way, here's all the positives...Extraordinarily sturdy! I accidentally slipped on a cliff and smashed my knee into a sharp tree stump once, it didn't even scratch my pants! It washed right out (and I'm okay). The pockets are small but plentiful. My phone (Galaxy S10+) with a case will barely fit in the side pocket, but it does indeed fit. And the materials seem sturdy.Fits great with boots! Maybe not so much with small shoes like I prefer, but then again that isn't what the pants are made for so I can't bring myself to lower the rating for it.Overall, I have already went and recommended this pair to my friends. It's not to be confused with their lightweight "plastic" outdoor gear, this is for someone who is serious about the outdoors and wants something more like jeans but even tougher. I personally enjoy the color, style, and comfort of it too!
These trousers are designed and well made. I purchased 3 of them so far. the reinforced design not only looks great, they are ideal work pants. With that elastic waist, also comfortable. The brown will be my next purchase. Don't care for the turtle color. My only complaint is the obvious. Why Wrangler did not produce them in Blue denim. I'm at a loss to understand that one. They would sell in original blue and faded, with customers buying more than 1 pair at a time. Caviar, a color I never heard of wasn't a good idea. Plain black would have been preferable. Over all a good product
They are designed for a big fat butt. I do not have a big fat butt, I have no butt. I'm a tall skinny guy. The waistband should be moved 2 inches down. These fit perfectly if I flip/roll the waistband down over my belt. There's no way I can pull them up over my belly button as it seems they were designed to. the models do that in the pictures but Nobody Does that in real life. They are Not very color fast and stain very easily, but they are mostly cotton. Very rugged for construction work, but again they are cotton so they can tear easily if snagged on something sharp like screws rebar edges of metal studs....And like everything else in the world of an upside down democrat economy they cost too much right now 3 years ago they were like 35 bucks. Vote Red, For the REPUBLIC, live free, or die.
Great Color selection, Cut / Fit. Reinforced; Heavey duty mostly comfortable Cotton.
Great fit. Super comfortable, stylish and tough. My only beef is the too small pockets. Still five star pants at this price point.
Made well with a little stretch and not hot to wear. Fits with boots or sneakers
Great work pants. Very comfortable and tough.
I rip the crotch out of every pair of pants I get. These have performed well so far.
I have been wearing and working in various work pants over the past 2 decades or so from Wrangler to Levi's to Carhartt to other random brands. The quality of these brands has decreased as the price has increased (common theme in the marketplace). I gave these a try at my local Boot Barn and was pleasantly surprised by the fit and wearability. Finding them at less than $40 makes it a no-brainer.My first pair has lasted for 1.5 years with stints of wearing them for 3-4 days in a row while in the field, and on average, maybe 1-2 days/week. They are no longer crisp, of course, but they don't bare holes rendering them almost useless as have the similarly priced Carthartts I've purchased over the past 7 years or so.Quality product.
The sizes run long. I had to return first pair because my reg length I usually wear were long. I exchanged pair 2 inches shorter and now they fit.
