The fake cargo pockets with hidden zippers are very complicated and require two hands and complete attention to access. The only rear pocket with no flap is too small. The phone pockets behind the front pockets are perfect

Was skeptical of these at first based on some reviews but found that as usual most were wrong. The pants are awesome. I took them over the holidays to back woods of Alabama and basically wore them everyday we were in vacation. The reinforced knees were great as one day I was fixing gates and fences and found myself in the dirt multiple times but my knees stayed dry and comfortable. Wore them hunting with no under layer in 30 degree wind chilled weather and they kept my legs nice and warm. The fleece interior is in fact fleece but different than normal fleece but still great. If you get too warm in them they have large zipper flaps on your thigh which will help cool your legs down so you don’t sweat. Over all super comfortable durable and warm. Downside is when you wash them they have to be hung dry and this will take time the trick is to turn them inside out while drying. 5 stars will be ordering more. Fit is on point and exact.

Depending on brands, I normally wear between 32 and 34. Should have order these in a 32. They fit fine but with elastic waist I'll have to wear a belt if I have anything more than a phone in pockets or they'll slide down. They seem like good quality and I always like the rip stop. Leg pockets are long but not wide at all. My phone won't fit in leg pockets due to being narrow but I'm going to keep and test them out. I didn't want a real thick pair but warm. Not sure how they'll do with the last part of Alaska winter, we'll see when I go snowshoeing and biking

The sizing is good, and they fit well. The outer material is water resistant and of good quality and the seams appear to be stitched well. My only complaint is that the fleece lining feels a little thin. It is applied in a cross-work patch style and, while very flexible, does not seem as warm as other pants I have that are similar to these. It may be that the outer material is thinner and more flexible. Either way, I'll just wear some thermal underwear under them on those really cold days.

I bought these pants to wear on a Winter trip to Europe visiting Christmas markets in four countries; Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. I knew there was going to be a LOT of walking outdoors. Our first day in Munich it snowed 20 inches and we were outside all day, every day for 12 days. Temps were in the 20s during the day and teens are night before it warmed up 10-15 degrees. I wore these pants eight of those cold days and they worked great. Some days I wore a base layer underneath, but most of the time I didn't need them. I highly recommend these pants, BUT...I ordered two pair; one gray, one black. The gray pants were as described, but the black pair was a totally different style. So be careful when you order these because when you think you're selecting different colors of the same style when ordering, you may very well be ordering a different STYLE of pants! The black pants had the dumbest pockets and they ran a little longer (34X30). The pockets I'm talking about are on the thighs; they are long and narrow. When you unzip them you realize that they're really not pockets, but weirdly shaped vents. As pockets they won't hold anything! I have 10-15 pairs of "tactical" pants and none of them have vented "pockets" like this. Like I said, dumb. But the gray pair was great.

I wore these with some mid-weight long john underwear on underneath. It was a rainy and moderately windy day, and the temperature was about 41°. “Feels like temperature” was around 35° with the wind chill. Pants worked great. They kept me warm and dry for the entire 6 hours that I was outside. Very little noise when walking. Fit is good, especially with the stretch in the waist band, and the pants are not too bulky.

Most useless tac pants I have cqr failed this one. First let me say the new material feels like rubber tape. The side zipper pockets are worthless when you put stuff in them if you zip down too far everything falls out. Front pockets too small to fit a phone in disappointed in the way cqr made these I’m keeping them because I needed pants for work In emergency.

Still laughing about the ad stating the vents are vents, but the reviewer saying they're cargo pockets and hard to access. Anyways just like every other ski pant like this, it's like wearing a moisture trapping tarp, but the vents do a GREAT job at getting a lot of it out, which is why I bought them. Seem a bit on the slim side so if you're like me and bulky, going up a size might help. Other than that they're just like any other pants made out of the same stuff.

  • Burnerjack

These are great. Super comfy and most if not all of the tactical aspects are subdued.Like almost Dress/Casual as opposed to my truly tactical pants that are more “Power Rangerish”.I will definitely buy more. Should be good on the bike. Expect the vents to work well while riding.

  • Dudebro9000

These pants fit great, true to size. I'm 6'2" 180lbs and usually wear a 34x34. They fit true to size, and so far have shown great water/moisture resistance. I haven't worn them in a downpour or anything, but for use in the snow where I was kneeling and on the ground quite a bit, there hasn't been any moisture that's made it through the pants yet. My only real gripe is that the front pockets are pretty shallow/small.If anyone from CQR sees this review- if you added Velcro pockets for kneepads, and a set of hooks to secure the pant cuffs on your boot laces these pants would be unbeatable for their value.
