There are some unique problems when you live in a place a little too close to the equator.I moved to the Philippines after I retired a couple years ago. So it's hot as heck here. All the time. Year round.I've played golf and tennis all my life. Owned all kinds of shorts. These are perfect for hot weather every day wear.A fabric that's too lightweight clings. Some fabrics just feel wet in serious heat. That's okay playing golf or in a tennis match where you head for the showers. But not if you're walking to the mall and then going to dinner with your wife... and you start sweating the minute you walk outside the condo. These shorts are heavy enough to absorb and wick away some sweat, but they don't feel wet even after a couple hours in the heat.Somehow, despite being a heavier weight fabric than some other shorts I own, like nylon type shorts, these just feel comfortable start to finish. They're durable. Easy relaxed fit for a guy retired and about 25 lbs overweight.I love them. Just bought 3 more pairs. Not to mention, a great price.

Good fit, very comfortable and sturdy

Nice shorts. A previous pair I bought was slightly loose so I bought the latest pair a size smaller and it fits me great. Good quality and styling. Comfortable and perfect weight for Hawaii weather.

After having lost a significant amount of weight, my 38" cargo shorts were much too large. Needed some 36" ones but was having trouble finding decent ones this late in the summer. The ones I was able to find in my size and color were way overpriced ($50 for cargo shorts in late summer?...c'mon guys). These are exactly what I wanted. Great price, they fit well and the 2% spandex allows for a little extra give if needed. Normally, I get 100% cotton and was not thrilled with 98% cotton/2% spandex. Now that I have them and worn them for several weeks, though, not a problem. They have 7 pockets which is just right. The so-called tech pocket is on the left and is roomier than my other Wrangler ones. Fine by me. I use this pocket for my eyeglasses and these holds reading glasses and sunglasses easily. The flaps on both outside pockets are secured by velcro (the right one is where I keep my phone). The four inside pockets are sufficiently deep. Would have liked a button or something on at least one back pocket to protect my wallet but not a big deal. This is not a complaint, just a statement. Besides, these pants I usually wear with the shirt hanging out anyway. Finally, I have had some issues with older shorts where there is a double seam on the outside pocket, causing them to pop out a bit, even if only lightly filled. Hate that. Although these have a double seam there is more material between the seams so I do not find popping out to be an issue with them.I bought two pairs of the dark putty and one of the grain twill. Both colors shown on Amazon not exactly true. The dark putty is more like a stone or pewter color. Perfect for me. On Amazon picture they look almost white. The grain twill is what I would call khaki. Again, perfect for me. Not too dark as some of them can be and as appears in the Amazon picture.Very pleased with this purchase and will likely purchase these again when needed.

I recently purchased the Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic Cargo Stretch Shorts, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. These shorts are nothing short of spectacular!First and foremost, the fit is incredibly comfortable. The stretch material ensures a snug yet flexible feel, making them perfect for any activity, whether it's a casual day out or a more active adventure. The classic cargo design not only looks great but also provides ample storage with multiple pockets, which is incredibly convenient. The quality of these shorts is outstanding. The fabric feels durable and built to last, with strong stitching and attention to detail. I'm confident these shorts will stand the test of time. What I appreciate most is the versatility of these shorts. They can easily transition from a casual everyday look to a more rugged outdoor outfit, and they perform admirably in both settings. The classic design is timeless and pairs well with a variety of tops and footwear.Overall, the Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic Cargo Stretch Shorts are a fantastic addition to any wardrobe. They offer style, comfort, durability, and functionality, all in one package. I'm thoroughly impressed and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and stylish pair of shorts. Wrangler has truly hit a home run with this product!

I had to replace my current jean shorts as they had finally after many years worn out.I was saddened to find that no one apparently makes jeans now, everything is spandex laced. This is great for when you eat a little too much, and it does make the shorts lighter, but at what coast? How long are these going to last?I cannot answer those questions now, and will be back if these fail as fast as they feel like they are going toLikes:ColorPockets, pockets and more pockets (they didn't change this aspect at least)Length.Dislikes:Feels cheap

I really like these cargo shorts. They are nice looking and very well made. There are 'cheaper' cargo shorts out there to choose from, but, these are well built and the "fit" is very good. Nice color choices too. I purchased a second pair later.

These are nice and comfortable shorts with ample cargo pockets secured by Velcro. Unfortunately the Velco will eventually wear out, but given that there are flaps over the cargo pockets I am not too concerned. The major flaw is that the waist is at least two inches off. I am a 34" waist. The 32" fits just fine. I have two pair of these shorts in different colors and they are both sized the same.(The cargo pants are even worse: the waist is sized similar to the shorts, but the lengths are all over the place. I wear 32" length. One pair was close to 32", but the other pair was at least 35", but was labeled 32". Go figure.

I'm 6ft 185 and would be consider slim if you saw me. I've been buying 36 for years. Most 36's I can skin off without unbuttoning ( I wear a belt with them) but they're more comfortable. I bought a pair 36 reg (which I'm not sure what that is) camo. They fit good out of the bag but 98% cotton? I wore them golfing a couple of times before washing they felt good but they're snug below the waist upper thigh area. So I ordered a pair of 38's which I've never purchased before. The 38's are way more than I need in the waist area but more comfortable below the belt area. I'm keeping both but the sweet spot for me would right in between.

I work in Auto Parts so I'm inside most of the time. The folks I work with are reptiles I guess, since they have the heat up all the time. They roast me, so I wear shorts year round in Central Missouri. These are decent for me. I prefer more pockets but the cell phone/tech pocket is a MUST. Keeps my phone handy, but still protected.
